1955: Preparing Marine View Terrace for New Homes

This 1955 photograph documents grading at Marine View Terrace, from Galveston Street to Illion Street. Captured during the preparation of land for development, it records the work that helped shape the neighborhood’s residential setting and offers a look at Bay Park before this stretch reached its finished form.
